Whether it changes the world or not, what matters is that it changes the student's world for the better. It all starts with building a supportive relationship the moment a child walks through the school's doors. Once you establish that foundation, much can happen. It is also a teacher's job to meet a child where they are at in their learning, giving them the tools and strategies they need to succeed in their education and future endeavors. Every child can grow and lead. Every child has a genius.
